Small ranking boost (or drop) in local SERP 🚀 I read an article from Joy Hawkins (link in comments) a while back regarding a ranking boost happens when you acquired the 10th review on GBP. Did a test on a service-based client in Sydney. The local ranking started spread across Sydney CBD when they acquire the 10th review early Oct as seen on 6 Oct screenshot. It works! The experiment doesn't end here. I wasn't intentionally going to test the next part. 😅 Google decides to remove one of the reviews end of October for whatever reason. Within a week, the local ranking went back to the original state. It is interesting to see how local search algo reacts to the this. Just because you see a ranking boost after reaching your 10th review doesn't mean continuing to add more will produce the same results. Other factors will come in to play to improve the local rankings.

What is Guest Posting? Guest posting is what the name suggests. Throwing guests out of one's house and sending them to another house. Taking something from one slave to another slave as Imamat. Let's say there is a website that has low ranking in the eyes of Google and another website that has good ranking in the eyes of Google. Posting a low-rank website article to a high-rank website. It is called a guest post.

First impressions go a long way... So how do you think your sub-4-star Google rating represents the properties you oversee? Well.... 98% of potential residents are reading and even obsessing over reviews. You quite truly have 2.5 seconds to grab their attention with 2 things: Star rating and number of reviews. Less than 4 stars and fewer than 60 reviews and you are guaranteed to lose viewings to competing communities. Hard facts, but this is super easy to fix with nearly zero time required from your team if you use any major PM system to manage your community. Fixing your reviews will cost a fraction of what you pump into ILS and will actually generate an exponential return on those ILS dollars. 30-day trial and 15% discount available for all property managers that contact us through Linked In. Interesting Findings from an Analysis of 50 Websites by Cyrus S. The ranking or better-performing sites did not follow Google’s recommended best practices: Key findings include: 1. Winning sites had less anchor text variation compared to losing sites. 2. Winning sites' pages were not updated (on average, they were 2 years old) compared to losing sites, which had relatively updated pages. 3. Winning sites had less number of adjectives in their titles compared to losing sites. 4. Winning sites barely used schema or had minimal use, whereas losing sites had quite a good schema implementation. A single link from the right page can make a big difference. Why? Because not all links are the same. The authority of the page linking to you matters more than anything else. If a page with high authority links to your site, it passes more "link juice" and can increase your rankings faster. It's about quality, not quantity. Even a single link from the right page can outperform many low-quality links. Focus on getting links from trusted pages. That’s where the real value lies. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I help businesses and websites to get quality backlinks from quality sites. Fixing Helpful Content Site is Not About Measuring Against the Previous Version of The Site Google's John Mueller stated on X that when it comes to correcting your site that was affected by the helpful content update: "It's not relative to previously, it's basically a re-evaluation of the whole site in the new / current online world & users expectations." As a result, you should not compare your current situation to where you are now with your unique site. You must compare yourself to where you are now, with your current situation. https://lnkd.in/eYB_SK-r
