In the wake of recent federal funding opportunity announcements, this article popped up in my memories for me. The latest of large federal funding was Tech Hub awards from the EDA. Michigan was not awarded the funds or designation as a tech hub but other states (including our neighbors IL, IN and OH) did because they found ways to be state inclusive. Michigan has to ask, what do we do well as a state beyond our regional verticals (automotive, battery, solar & aerospace)? What's our sweet spot that empowers all the regions to succeed in those verticals? That should be our mindset and approach. When we compete against each other, we all lose out. https://lnkd.in/gRdkkCvc
