During my internship at Zaxby's this semester, I gained valuable insights into the fast-food industry and developed key skills that will benefit my future career. I learned the importance of teamwork, time management, and customer service. I believe these skills will be crucial in any future job I pursue. Reflecting on my performance, I think I would be pleased with my work if I were my manager. I consistently showed up on time, completed my tasks efficiently, and was always willing to help my coworkers. I also took the initiative to learn new tasks beyond my job description, which demonstrated my commitment and eagerness to grow. 1) Improve my leadership skills by taking on more responsibilities, 2) Enhance my communication skills through more direct interactions with customers and team members, and 3) Gain a deeper understanding of the business operations by shadowing different roles within the restaurant. To go above and beyond my job description, I plan to suggest and implement small process improvements that can enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. #cherokeewbl #georgiawblworks

P&G Summer Internship - 10 weeks of learning about BRAND BUILDING Last Friday was my last day at Procter & Gamble as a Brand Management Intern for PANTENE. This wasn’t my first internship, but it was my first in Brand Management—a field I've always been passionate about. So, this internship is a pretty big milestone for me. The amount I’ve learned in these 10 weeks is something I couldn’t have found anywhere else. Here are some key takeaways: 1. Start with the WHO, not the HOW: It's all about understanding our consumers. Everything we do should be grounded in their needs, wants, and behaviors. 2. Category analysis isn't the ultimate guide: Sustainable growth comes from driving category growth based on consumer insights, not just following what the market is doing. 3. Be smart with data: Use impactful, actionable data points instead of overwhelming stakeholders with too much information. Beyond the learning, what makes me want to come back here someday are the amazing people I got to work with. Huge thanks to my line manager Jarred Wong, my buddy Nutchaya Kootiratrakarn, and the supportive HR team Siew Ying Yeo, Ming Yi Gui, and Kai En Teoh. #fmcg #brandmanagement #beauty

Participants said that Milky Mist Dairy's Capella (Labled as 'B') is ........... as compared to ......... chocolate For my summer internship, I have been working on Milky Mist dairy's Capella brand chocolate. As part of my study, I conducted sensory analysis of different chocolate brands. Through sensory analysis, I have tried to understand the dominant characteristics that come to people’s minds when they consume Capella and other brands of chocolates, both plain milk chocolate and plain dark chocolate. Additionally, I investigated the words people associate with different chocolate brands and with the word "chocolate" overall. I’d like to thank JYOTHY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BANGALORE for allowing me to conduct my sensory analysis study on their campus and also to Dr. Kishore from the institute for helping me arrange everything. The study provided me valuable insights into the characteristics of Capella chocolate that Milky Mist can leverage to position it in the market on a larger scale. These insights can also help create a distinct image for Capella in the highly competitive chocolate market in India. #chocolate #marketresearch #MilkyMist #Capella #internship #learning

I'm excited to share that I recently completed my summer internship at Wagh Bakri Chai, a leading tea brand in India I am grateful to #GreatLakesInstituteofManagement that has been instrumental in shaping my learnings and I'm incredibly grateful for the support I received throughout. A huge thanks to #CCS team and the Institute Coordinators for their unwavering guidance. During my internship at Wagh Bakri, I delved deep into the exciting world of B2C markets, particularly focusing on general trade. I explored the fascinating aspects of market segmentation, understanding how brands cater to diverse audiences based on: Economic Class: Tailoring products to specific income levels. Taste & Preferences: Identifying unique flavor profiles and catering to regional variations. Demographics: Analyzing population characteristics like age groups and family structures. Disposable Income: Understanding how spending power influences buying decisions. This internship provided me the opportunity to explore the intricate dance between B2C marketing and consumer behavior. I learned valuable lessons about market research, product positioning, and brand communication strategies. I'm incredibly thankful to Wagh Bakri Chai for providing me with this enriching opportunity. Looking forward to carrying these learnings forward in my future endeavors! #GreatLakesInstituteofManagement #SummerInternship #WaghBakriChai #B2CMarketing #MarketSegmentation #ConsumerBehavior

This week I worked 3 hour at my internship. On my first day this week I was tasked to package mini bars as most of the tasks for the day had been completed. since there was less to do today, I spent the day packing the bars and organizing bars that had finished cooling. On the second day this week, I was given the opportunity to review a marketing opportunity that Paul had been offered to Paul. The goal of the plan was to raise awareness for Maverick Chocolate as a luxury chocolate brand in Cincinnati. This overview allowed me to relate my internship directly to my marketing course and gave me insight on strategies implemented by marketing companies. Some of the strategies included using keywords on google for advertising, using negative keywords to insure maverick is not found when looking up something unwanted, and using geofencing in order to raise awareness when customers buy from competitors. The plan had tracking goals, a target audience, a timeline, and a geographical area which allowed it to coordinate and implement its goals most efficiently. Afterwards Paul’s showed me how the works. The new grinder is much more efficient and takes only a few minutes to cycle the beans through three times, grounding them into nibs to be used for chocolate. The second new machine allowed us easily prepare the ingredients for the chocolate and mix them perfectly. By pumping the chocolate from the bottom of the mixer back to the top the machine is continuously churning and grinding the nibs, sugar, and butter together, creating a smooth consistency to be molded. #TheBusinessLaunchExperience The Business Launch Experience
