I was happy to participate and present my work at the 18th international p53 workshop, held at the Weizmann Institute. It was an honor to meet all the amazing people studying the p53, discuss, and share state-of-the-art research in the field of p53. The protein p53, also known as the “genome guard”, plays a key role in protecting the body against cancer by inhibiting the development of tumors when the genetic material of the cell is damaged. 50% of all cancer cases have a mutated p53 protein, making this protein among the essential targets for research and therapeutic approaches. # the bottom left photo is with my supervisor Prof. Tali Haran, and our lab manager Dr. Yael Danin-Poleg.
