What I love about our conference is that we make space for people to challenge what can become complacent thoughts about topics. Really illuminating thoughts from Rob on the cannibalization debate.
Robert Norton, the President of Cordish Gaming, held a fireside chat with SBC VP of Growth & Strategy, Americas, Sue Schneider at the recent SBC Summit North America 🌎 Norton, labelled by some as an obstructionist, explained his igaming stance, and how it's changed over the years. 🗣 “I was very pro igaming at one point in my career... but as time has gone on, my opinion and my view of things started to shift slightly to the point where I think that we have to have a real honest conversation about what’s happening today,” 🗣 “I know there are a ton of studies out there and everybody leans on a different study that supports their narrative. Well, I didn’t do it that way. I did the studying myself with my own team without an objective, without an agenda.” Full panel write-up by Jessica Welman on regulation, cannibalization, and how online and retail can work together 📝 👇
It is wonderful to see an event where the free flow of ideas and thought are being shared!
