Event Date: June 19, 2024 Event Location: The Loop at Chaska What is happening? PGA Professionals and military Veterans are playing 100 holes of golf on one of the longest days of the year to raise funds and awareness for local veterans and PGA REACH Minnesota Foundation. Why are we doing this? PGA REACH Minnesota Foundation and its Partners are pledging to ensure that our local veterans have the resources and tools they need to overcome life’s adversities and improve their physical, mental, emotional and social well-being. It is a fact that suicide is a major issue among military veterans, with recent studies showing that 22 veterans a day commit suicide. We aim to showcase how golf provides a therapeutic rehabilitation for veterans and is readily available to all veterans with physical, emotional and PTSD challenges. How is this benefiting veterans? Proceeds from the event will benefit PGA REACH Minnesota, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and its flagship program PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere). • PGA HOPE programming is fully funded by PGA REACH and offered at no cost for military veterans. • PGA HOPE uses golf taught by PGA Professionals as a therapeutic modality to help rehabilitate our nation’s heroes. • PGA HOPE has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Veterans Affairs, which enables Recreational Therapists to refer Veterans to the PGA HOPE program as a form of therapy. • The Department of Veterans Affairs research and clinical experience verify that physical activity is important to maintaining good health, speeding recovery and improving overall quality of life. For many injured Veterans, adaptive sports provide their first exposure to physical activity after injury. What is the PGA HOPE Program? • A PGA HOPE Program consists of a six to eight-week golf program led by trained PGA Professionals that provides Veterans with golf instruction, course access, and adaptive equipment if needed. Minnesota Section. Ways to donate: • Pledge: visit www.100holesforhope.com and pledge to a specific golfer by making a per birdie donation or flat donation. Donors may also donate to the general event fund. • FAQ’s for donors • When will my card be charged? We won’t have a final tally of birdies until after the event is complete. If you’ve made a per birdie pledge, please allow us time to calculate the amount owed for each donor, based on the number of birdies made. Donors will be sent an invoice following the event and have the option to complete a credit card payment online or send a check to our office. If you selected a flat donation, a check can be sent to the Minnesota PGA office any time before or after the event. Flat donations made online via credit card will be charged that same day. • Is my donation tax deductible? Yes! Once your payment is received you will receive a receiptfrom PGA REACH with all necessary tax deduction information.

This weekend, we’re going to race across more than 200 miles through 15 towns on Cape Cod with up to 20-pounds on our backs… Sure, it SUCKS, but do you know what SUCKS even more? It SUCKS to lose someone you love because there were no programs or services available for veterans, who suffered silently after active duty. According to recent surveys, almost 44 veterans kill themselves each day – and that’s 44 veterans a day way too many. The unintended consequences cut deep, reach far and last forever. No one should ever have to experience it, but, unfortunately, many do. How can we help? We can support AMAZING organizations, like HEROES IN TRANSITION INC , that offer unique programs and services to build stronger relationships and better communities for veterans, active service members and their families. ***So, you may be thinking… If it SUCKS, then why do we do it? Simple. WE DO IT – and will continue to do it – FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T.*** Please consider supporting the cause. #HeroesInTransition #Ruck4HIT #4ThoseWhoCant https://lnkd.in/eUr-hxWc

https://lnkd.in/dgz_5pkW My dear friends and good-hearted people: This post of ours is for a humanitarian action and event. I know there are many like this on the internet. However, you can also search us and see us in person. I am Erkan SUGUT. I am a citizen of the Republic of Turkey. I am the chairman and founding member of a humanitarian aid association in Turkey. A few months ago, I registered a non-profit organization in the United States. Our organization is registered in Delaware. We have received our 501(c)3 tax-exempt status and charitable certification. Our goal is to show society that there are good people and to show people in need that they are not alone. I can say that about 70% of the society is disadvantaged. This is my own opinion. It is not a statistic based on scientific and research. When I research my own environment, I see this many disadvantaged people. When we scale this up and look globally, I'm sure it could be as much as 80%. This is where we come into play. We volunteers provide this service without any benefit or expectation. We do this regardless of salary or any income. It undermines our expectations politically, economically or in any way. Please share this post of mine. This is an act that will benefit every good-hearted person who donates, both in this world and the hereafter. Also, your donations may go to people you do not know, but rest assured, you will feel at peace. There is no donation, no matter how big or small. Do not spare your support to the homeless, the elderly, orphans, widows, those who cannot find a job, addicts, prisoners of fate, immigrants and all disadvantaged people. If you want to research us, you can search with EIN 99-1319013. Contact us. We can give you more detailed information.

On this special ride to Craig Ranch Park, we were joined by the Lionheart Veterans Program, riding #StigmaFree with #FNG to combat the emotional toll of the holiday season. Their support empowered us to keep the momentum going and ensure no one was left behind. That Wasaline chooses Wenaas is based not only on the fact that we offer a well-adapted range for their working environment, but also on Wenaas' ESG work (Environmental – Social – Corporate Governance), which played an important role in the choice of supplier. Even you can make a difference in your daily choices
How can we make a difference in our daily choices? A majority of our crew's workwear comes from Wenaas Workwear AB. From every piece of clothing ordered, a small donation is made to Mercy Ships on our behalf. Mercy Ships is an organization that provides health care services and training in developing countries. For example, the staff of the hospital ship Global Mercy operated on 2,300 persons and trained hundreds of health care staff during a recent visit to Sierra Leone. Short version, when weather looks like warfare, we need to consider tactical answers. Conventional waiting until the nation guard or FEMA gets moving is too slow. Tactical is every bit a real-world training opportunity for units ready to react. Let's provide them opportunity. Parting remark Starlink makes sense, communications is a key player in all such real-world emergencies.

Lorrie and I have been following the aftermath of #HurricaneHelene. Sullenberger Aviation Museum and its staff were spared in Charlotte, but the devastation in other parts of North Carolina is heartbreaking. Many people are still struggling and will be for some time. We encourage anyone who is able to contribute to relief efforts linked below– Aerobridge and Operation Airdrop are two of several organizations working to provide relief. I send a personal thank you to the many volunteer pilots who are helping to deliver supplies where needed. https://lnkd.in/g2GpVtCC https://lnkd.in/gRSSPGYF

NC Helene Update This weekend was The American Legion NC Fall Conference, in Raleigh. Division 5 reported on the destruction and recovery efforts. To start with the positive, they were overwhelmed with gratitude for fellow American Legion Department’s who rallied to provide support. In particular, they recognized Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico. Post 141, in Howell, Michigan, has donated over $1,000,000 in supplies and funding. A legionnaire in South Dakota donated a brand new RV, packed with supplies to the West. If you’re from one of those departments, be proud. Please know your kindness is felt across our state. The Division has also expressed sincere gratitude for the support of National Guard units, who have gone above and beyond to ensure aid is distributed across difficult to access areas. As for the current state of affairs, Green Mountain is particularly hard hit. It’s expected they won’t have power for another 18 months. As for the death toll, it is far higher than has been reported. Cadaver dogs are still working the land, searching for the missing. Homeless encampments, with excess of 100 individuals, are gone - with no means to identify the residents. As for needs, they specifically need generators, heaters, and money. They do not need clothing. They are specifically requesting money, because the needs are changing quickly (due to weather). In closing, it cannot be overstated how, when shit hits the fan, veterans will always come out of the woodwork to support their fellow Americans. While the devastation is far spread, there are helpers abound. In the wake of this, I have never been more proud to be an American and to be a North Carolinian.
