Seems Dollarama L.P. sales are growing and expanding to Mexico and Latin America. As someone that shops at Dollarama for a very number of years from gift wrap, food, soft drinks, candy, office stuff, household supplies I do wish they would bring in some new products and seems certain stores have a much better selection and variety. They have the exact same items they had 10 years ago. Really surprised the buyers do not seek out any new items or even come up with some more private label foods? They are not an innovative that seeks out new products to keep customers happy, they just stock the same items. They also seem to be having very bad stock issues on inventory in Edmonton and certain products appear like every 6 months. Very bad variety of PepsiCo brands in that you can hardly find 1 litre bottles of #icetea #brisk #7up #schweppes #gingerale #drpepper on the shelves. But certainly rows and rows of #pepsi exist. . According to Global News, higher interest rates are forcing households to spend more on housing costs and "the cumulative impact of price hikes over the past few years means grocery bills are still eating up a big chunk of Canadians’ budgets". That's limiting people's ability to buy discretionary goods... ... forcing many retailers to drop prices to make sales. It's great news for consumers looking to save money. It's not great news for retailers, though: deep discounts significantly impact the bottom line. Sales in British shops bounced back in May, according to retail data that suggests slowing #inflation is encouraging customers to buy more.
