Big news! You may ask why this matters so much. Well it’s big because this will enable you to not only see and visualize data that exists outside of #Salesforce but also utilize it for interaction and automations all while it stays in your downstream systems. This will majorly reduce the need for custom data models and build management within CRM to just house data that belongs in an external system. This will help truly position #CRM as your platform of engagement and enable a true customer 360 while reducing complex data management operations and movement overhead. This is big! #Salesforce #Customer360 #Data

Issue with Fetching Text Area Field Value Using get All Method in Salesforce If you're experiencing issues while fetching text area field values using the `getAll` method for custom metadata in Salesforce, you're not alone. Here’s a quick overview of what might be happening and how to address it. ####Problem: When using the `getAll` method to retrieve custom metadata, you might find that text area fields (long text fields) are not being fetched or displayed correctly. ➡ Key Points: 1. **Text Area Fields**: These fields can store large amounts of text, and there might be limitations or issues when retrieving them via the `getAll` method. 2. **getAll Method**: This method is designed for efficiency and retrieves all records of a custom metadata type from the cache, but it might not handle text area fields as expected. ➡ Possible Solutions: 1. **Verify Data Integrity**: Ensure that the text area fields contain data within the allowed limits and that there are no special characters causing issues. 2. **Use SOQL**: As an alternative, use SOQL to fetch the custom metadata records. SOQL provides more control and might handle text area fields better. If `getAll` is not working as expected for text area fields, switching to a SOQL query might be a more reliable solution. This approach provides greater flexibility and ensures you can fetch and work with the data effectively. #Salesforce #CustomMetadata #Apex #SOQL #SalesforceDevelopment #Troubleshooting CloudColon - Salesforce Consulting Partner | SWAPNIL MESHRAM

#Salesforce in Talks to Acquire #Informatica - Can not agree more to the #SalesforceBen article: “AI + CRM + Data” is the Salesforce Slogan of the year - you need a tool that is capable to do heavy data loads from one system to the other. The ETL capability would supplement the Salesforce product portfolio in a great way and speed up the growth and adoption of AI in the CRM ecosystem. Migration and integration in enterprise projects is most time consuming and complex. With #MuleSoft as an integration platform, Salesforce has already a game changer in the world of API`s, but MuleSoft is not designed to process massive amounts of data. Also, Data Loader is not suitable for huge enterprise migration projects as it is only providing some basic import/export/delete functionalities. I`m very curious and excited to see how this topic will evolve short and mid-term. https://lnkd.in/ee5KjeW4
