In Central and Eastern Europe, including Germany, more advertisers actively consider CTV in their channel mix than in any other part of Europe. Yet, the share of the budgets spent on this new medium is the lowest in the region. Why is that? 1. Low availability and quality of data, 2. inconsistencies across CTV offerings and 3. Poor campaign measurement and performance are among the top challenges that concern brand decision-makers today. Publishers looking to maintain scale as monetisable audiences shift away from linear TV should increase transparency into their media and adopt standardised technologies built with third-party measurement in mind.
