There are really 3 ways to grow a business: 1) Increase the number of customers 2) Increase the average order value 3) Increase the frequency of orders (i.e. customer lifetime value) Scaling a business (# 1) happens in the front end - where you acquire more leads and convert more first-time buyers. But that first purchase is likely low-ticket. It might even cost you money. That's why true monetization (# 2 & 3) comes in the back end - where you make more offers to your warm and hot audiences (the people who already know, like, and trust you or your brand). Properly thought out marketing can address the front or back end of your business (or both). Once it's running like a well-oiled machine, all you have to do is pour gas on the fire (get more traffic). #digitalmarketing
