In my conversation with Hanley Holcomb, on the People Quotient podcast, I was reminded of a major lesson I learned early in my operating career, 'Always Be Recruiting.' Hanley, a Partner Signal Partners, has spent his career in the financial services industry and now helps private equity funds and other financial institutions recruit top talent to build high-performing teams. He highlighted how most of us attack recruiting when #strategy demands, or someone leaves. But those who continuously stay in touch with the talent market, proactively identify people who could be a great fit, and get inspired by what amazing talent can do for our businesses, tend to rapidly build stronger #organizations. Some of the other key topics we cover in this conversation include: 1) Building High-Performing Teams 2) The Impact on Employees When a Business Gets Sold 3) The Needs of Top Talent in Today’s Market Click: https://lnkd.in/gkFadJrr for valuable insights on #TalentAcquisition, #EmployeeEngagement, and #BusinessGrowth. Don't miss out on how continuous #Recruitment strategies can transform your organization! You may need this reminder today if you are in Sales/Recruitment! Ruthless Optimism I heard this phrase on a podcast this week and loved it. The best Account Executive, Director of Sales, VP of Sales etc. I work with have Ruthless Optimism. The best Recruiters I have shared an office with are the same. With ruthless optimism we: Inspire those around us to never give up Find creative solutions where others see roadblocks Turn adversity into fuel for success When things are slower during the summer months in Florida, still believe that you can hit your quota. When you have had a drop out as a Recruiter, still believe you can learn from this and find a more suitable candidate the next time, It isn't about ignoring reality but it is the belief that every setback is an opportunity. The best choose to be leaders with optimism every day. I hope this helps at least one person in sales today!
