OSHA's proposed rule has been extended for the second time. Please look into it and understand the implications this proposed rule and short compliance timeline will have for your fire, police, or ambulance services. All entities of public safety are affected by this proposed new rule. There is nothing wrong with making a dangerous job safer and I support that, but it needs to be realistic and have a timeline that allows all to work toward the common goal of responder safety. Please feel free to reach out if you are not able to find the bill or other resources. I can help out.

IMPORTANT: OSHA Emergency Response Rulemaking Deadline for comments extended to July 22, 2024 Fire, EMS, Rescue Teams, and more. Please pay attention to this 40-year advancement to the OSHA laws pertaining to Emergency Response. We need your comments. How will this new rule (law) impact your current or future emergency response team. I am telling you, SIGNIFICANTLY! I have read through all 600 + pages of the document. Although it is great for the safety and well-being of our responders (which I support), the costs with such a rapidly advancement will be tough for most communities. Please put this on your list to review and comment on. https://lnkd.in/gGwM8igu
