Words can’t fully express how encouraged, humbled, and grateful I am for Roman Ružbacký’s recognition of my work. In my DE&I journey, I often grapple with how to build and engage my network meaningfully. My goal has been to address under-discussed, often niche topics through an intersectional lens—to influence change and spark conversations that matter deeply to me. One of my biggest challenges has been finding the balance between depth and outreach. I can write with depth, but reaching a wider audience and amplifying impact isn’t always easy. Some of the articles Roman highlighted were ones I feared hadn’t made the mark. Recently, I experimented with more concise, punchy content designed for broader reach. But Roman’s post has reminded me that depth resonates too—and perhaps the key lies in balancing both styles of content. Thank you, Roman, for this encouragement to keep pushing forward and refining my approach. #DEIJourney #MeaningfulEngagement #BalancingAct

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

🍂🌷☘️ I met Jason Teoh, FCPHR 🏳️🌈 in person at a DEI conference in Sydney this year. What impressed me the most is our conversations throughout the day about our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practice. Respect, humility, curiosity, time to listen and collaborate, and action. So when we had a conversation about how we like writing about DEI to help progress create a more equitable and inclusive world and further the practice. A few months later, I went 🚀🏔️Wow!!! after reading, 🔥Unmasking the Truth: How Disability Masking Affects Identity and Inclusion https://lnkd.in/ge5wAQR5 What a terrific read with deep thinking and practical case studies. Jason - you have a terrific handbook in the making. I'll credit you when talking about these. And as you and I know, that when putting your recipes out there you still need to know how to cook. It takes skill and practice to bring the work to life and make it impactful. So thanks for sharing these. Some select articles.
