Civil Society Organizations play a crucial role in public health by amplifying community voices, driving advocacy, and bridging gaps in healthcare delivery to ensure equitable access for all. At, PATH, Promoting equity in health is one of our core strategies. Aligned with this strategy, I am excited to share an important milestone in the journey toward equitable access to medical oxygen! As a part of SOURCE project, We recently supported the formation of “Impact Alliance” – a coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) advocating for and strengthening access to medical oxygen and Respiratory care services. On December 17th, we successfully organized the first Impact Alliance Workshop in Jharkhand, bringing together 80+ participants representing 60 organizations, including CSOs, development partners, and public, private, and charitable hospitals. It was a true honor to speak at this workshop as an expert and moderate a session on "Collaborative Models for Strengthening Respiratory Care and the Medical Oxygen Ecosystem." The insightful discussions and shared commitment to improving respiratory care highlighted the transformative power of collaboration. A heartfelt thank you to all the participants for their valuable contributions and dedication. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient healthcare system that leaves no one behind. #ImpactAlliance #MedicalOxygen #HealthcareAccess #CollaborationForChange #PublicHealth Neeraj Jain Lisa Smith Conner House Elena Pantjushenko Leith Greenslade Shyamashree Das Dr. Sachin Gupte MD, MPH Dr.Abhijeet P Sinha,PhD Murari Choudhury

2dBig step forward! Oxygen has always suffered from lack of platforms to raise the voices of patients, caregivers, and civil society. We need the same level of advocacy from these groups in oxygen, as we have in HIV/AIDS, malaria, childhood vaccination etc. Kudos PATH India team for leading the way on this. Is there a report on the Impact Alliance for other countries/regions to follow?
