A beaver alone isn’t strong enough to stop the force of water. But by building a dam—a simple barrier—he transforms the entire flow. Suddenly, the current is no longer something he’s fighting against but something he controls and uses for his own purpose. It’s a reminder that sometimes, we can’t stop the force of life coming at us. We may not be able to plug every hole, but we can build barriers, create systems, and learn to harness the flow to our advantage. What can we learn from animals like the beaver? How can we apply that wisdom to the challenges we face?
