After 6 1/2 years at Warner Bros. Discovery, my role has been eliminated. I have always loved Discovery, Science Channel, and Animal Planet, and it has been an absolute thrill to help bring such inspiring programming to new audiences on social media, TV everywhere, and streaming. Some of my favorite memories include: - Working with two-time Space Shuttle astronaut Mike Massimino to produce Ask the Astronaut for Science Channel’s social media platforms - Attending the launch of an International Space Station resupply mission at the Kennedy Space Center as a representative of Science Channel - Volunteering at Puppy Bowl, Dog Bowl, and the Kitten Halftime Show - Creating the streaming homes for Shark Week, Gold Rush, and CNN Originals - Discovering niche audiences for shipwrecks, Ancient Egypt, and extreme weather My first contract at the company was for 90 days. I turned it into seven months. My next contract was for six months. I turned it into a permanent role for five years. I had hoped it would be for a lifetime. After taking some time off, I plan to use my years of experience and audience insights to develop, write, and produce programming that could air on my former networks.
I'm sorry to hear that, Jason. That sucks man. I know how you're feeling. Get yourself some ice cream and eat it on the couch with Luna and watch a good movie you love. Then tomorrow, is another day!
Best of luck to you Jason. I have no doubt you will land on your feet.
