TODAY at 2:30PM Orlando Time What: 7 Habits of Highly Effective Safety Professionals Place: Room 306AB Date: September 17, 2024 FYI: The room is NOT a large room so be sure to arrive early to secure a seat AND get connected with some awesome people. Bonus: Rumor is there will be a surprise guest facilitator. Guess who!? The Big Idea for today’s session: Our profession is going through the single greatest season of change and transition we’ve ever seen. We’ve got BBS and HOP, SIFs and pSIFs, Total Worker Health, Psychological Safety (in addition to physical). STCKY, HECA and the Energy Wheel, AI and Machine Learning. And around each corner new hazards and risks along with new technology and terminology. So, things are changing fast. But, one thing that will not change, is the necessity for us to continue evolving. Personally and professionally. Our ability to send workers NOT in the same condition as they came. But to send workers home better than they came. That’s the game we’re being called to play. But it won’t happen solely through motivation, because if you how you feel determines what you do, we’re in trouble. Nor will it happen simply through behavioral modification. We’ve tried that, for decades. And it worked, until it didn’t. Moving forward, we’re aiming for healthy habit formation. For us and our teams. So what we’ve done, after more than a decade of qualitative research, from the front line to the front office. Including than 300 interviews with some of the highest performing safety and operational leaders. Is distilled that research down into 7 habits. 7 habits you can deploy today, to advance worker safety and health. And, like I said, send workers home not in the same condition. To send them home BETTER than they came. Join us today, so collectively we can do just that.
Great presentation.

Jason, really enjoyed your presentation, this is at least the second time I've attended one of your sessions (ASSP Chicago). I'd like to get the presentation slides to share with my team. Thanks again, awesome job!

Jason, great seeing you today in Orlando, sorry we didn’t more time together to catch up. I had a team member attend your session - very good feedback; he loved it and couldn’t say enough good things about it! He said the energy you brought was inspiring! Great job today! Be well! Tom
