Shout out to Karthiga Ratnam who helped run the final Better Together event last week in San Francisco. There was a GTM Awards segment. Unexpectedly, she was given one for building the best experience. While she was grateful for the honor, she didn't feel like she deserves it. Why? She said she didn't build the experience alone. She might have been the person on the ground "representing" the experience. The experience was crafted by her team - Suchitra Vijay, Anne Palomo, Kabir Uppal, Ciel Siladan, her extending team at Paragon Events - Kyra Canty, Alicia Crupi, Sophia Romagosa, all of the staff at the hotel, the audiovisual team, the performers and Shannel Wheeler, PMP for amazing branding. Kusal R Dissanayaka for building an amazing web experience. It was also crafted by swag vendors like Prakash Thanam who delivered high-quality products during an extremely short period. Not to mention their partners who constantly challenged her and pushed her to make this the best possible experience - shout out to Sophie Stanley, Jolie Chiu, Meghan Donovan, Hayden Clelland, Sunnie Niklaus, Monica Zhang, 🔳 🔳 Elena Vargas 🔳 , and more. She believes it's all of you who deserved the award. While she's humbled and privileged to receive the award - she doesn't feel it's hers to take.... --------------------- Karthi's leadership shines not just in the output of her team but more importantly of lifting them and helping them feel seen.
