Grateful to be featured in BYU's Marriott School of Business alumni spotlight this month. Over the years, I've enjoyed mentoring students and alumni, serving on the Information Systems Advisory Board, and now, helping teach Digital Product Management to MISM and MBA students.
Since graduating and joining Microsoft, MISM alum Jared Andersen has written speeches for the CEO of Microsoft, pioneered cloud services in China, and established generative AI technology. As he’s put his technical skills to use, Andersen has also learned how effective communication can unite people behind a common goal. “Know what you want to do,” he says, “and be exceptional at communicating that vision to others.” Learn about Andersen’s childhood growing up in China, how he came to work at Microsoft, and what he has learned in his career: https://lnkd.in/gr5vUz32
Congrats on a hugely successful career and even more so for the service you give to others!
Jared Andersen you are a true example of how you can take your career ambitions and make them reality through hard work and teaming with others! We are grateful for all you do to give back to BYU, the Marriott School of Business and the IS/MISM program to help students understand how they can leverage their degrees to achieve their own career aspirations. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing more of your #LeaderStory Jared Andersen. It's always so humanizing to get insight into the backstory of what drives a leader.

1moCongrats on being featured by BYU! Your career has been quite a highlight reel to watch. I recall some of our early career discussions when you first started at Microsoft and you certainly lead by example in knowing what you want to do & clearly communicating that vision with others & then executing on that vision… Well done Jared Andersen!
