Instead of hauling in necessary materials, CSX is mining rock directly from the Nolichucky riverbed—a choice that threatens wildlife habitat, water quality, and the thriving outdoor recreation industry that East Tennessee and Western North Carolina communities rely on. AN EXCEPTIONAL HURRICANE FORCE FLIGHT TO RETURN MID-FLIGHT The Church attack this morning reconfirming their intention of a hostile takeover (theft) of Bonafide, its ideas and production. Security alarm sound and Bonafide keep strategic issues under lock. We are encountering the ”money making machine of the Church” that is known for its ruthlessness. They make empty promises and harass / manipulate themselves free from anything. In terms of corporate culture this is unheard of. Violence cannot be the way forward to re-construct our world. Let us insted turn to a hand-shaking ideology that build positive reputation and authority that trust in peoples goodness. Making money is much easier in a ”gravity free” world. Bonafide have sound policies for choosing its partners; likeminded with a shared vision, respectful dialogue and complementary resources / know-how that makes a commitment possible. 🌪️🌍 Florida Deserves Better Climate Leadership 🌍🌪️ As Hurricane Ian's impacts linger, it's clear our leaders are failing us on climate change. Senator Marco Rubio's actions reveal his disregard for our urgent needs: He opposed the Inflation Reduction Act, the largest U.S. investment in transitioning away from fossil fuels. He voted against the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which funds community resilience projects to combat climate disasters like Hurricane Ian. He missed a crucial Senate vote on $18 billion in FEMA relief for Hurricane Ian, continuing his pattern of frequent absenteeism. He delayed essential aid for Hurricane Sandy victims in 2012 over a political disagreement. Florida needs leaders who prioritize our environment and safety over fossil fuel interests. It's time for change. We are watching the situation in New Mexico. The South Fork / Salt Fire is a complex megafire. It is currently 0% contained, 1400+ structures lost, 20K+ acres (both fires). They are also under a Flash Flood Warning. Notably, the resident interviewed in this story from CNN this morning states he was monitoring the situation via Watch Duty and he did not receive notifications otherwise. Notes: 1. In this Era of Climate Disasters, we must take measures to inform ourselves about fire, floods, air quality, and more. Watch Duty is an incredible tool for both emergency managers AND normal people like YOU to take responsibility. If you have not yet downloaded it, why not? 2. Lack of emergency notifications in a megafire is the rule, not the exception. Every single first-time megafire community is caught short. Every single one. The first time. No one expects the fire to move a football field every 3-5 seconds, but that is the reality of a megafire -- these are not average wildfires. They thrive in heat, wind, drought, and excessive fuel loads. Any megafire survivor will tell you it is a terrifying experience and feels like a Fire Monster, not a wildfire. You must be prepared. 3. GO BAGS: If you don't have them, please construct them now. Today. One for each family member, including pets. Consider in advance what you will take if you have 3 minutes to evacuate. Run a drill with your family. Make a plan. 4. Video your home interior and exterior on your phone every year. Open drawers and closets. If you should lose your home, you have a record of contents for insurance claims.
