Founders, you know having a personal brand is important. So how do you get from where you are to that ideal personal brand? Well here’s what I would put my focus to begin with: 1: Unique Offer Most offers on here are pretty similar (I changed my recently because of this). This means you have a small opportunity to stand out, so focus on including: - Guarantees - A specific result they can achieve with you - A named system that helps your clients get results As these make up an offer few will promote. 2: Short term wins Most people struggle to see themselves with a long term result. Which is why when you preach that “dreamy future”, your ideal clients can’t grasp it. So focusing on the short term results they can get can help them believe that long term results are possible. 3: Focused content The “Spray and Pray” posting efforts will get you nowhere. As I found myself doing this for my first 6 months on LinkedIn (didn’t work out). So what can you do instead? I like to breakdown my content into: PERSONAL: Share your experiences on broad topics that people can relate to as this helped me build a community. AUTHORITY: Share your experiences in relation to your niche and the mistakes, lessons and methods you learnt and built on the way. HAND-RAISING: Share where you were to begin your journey, the pain you went through and what it took to get your desire as your reader will resonate with these points also. P.S. Are you a Founder wanting to get your next 3 clients in 89 days through my Client-Catching Content System? DM me “Content System” and I’ll send over the details on how my system works and if it’s right for you!

Want to build a personal brand that attracts clients? You might find it challenging to stand out in the sea of experts everywhere. But here’s the key: ↱Some profiles look so attractive, and others aren't. The truth is: they cracked the code with consistency and experiments. It's not all about designs and fonts, it's about the story you tell through your content. It's about the narrative that you have built with your content that resonates with the reader, so they connect. Trust builds connection, and connection builds community. You made an unsaid connection with your readers that they resonate and love to read more. ↱Your personal brand is not just about what you do; it’s about the story you tell. Many profiles on LinkedIn are generic—they don’t talk about their target audience. Make your profile a complete solution for their problem. →Look at this step-by-step guide: 1. Craft a compelling headline: ↱Speak to your audience directly. Instead of just listing your title, focus on how you solve their problems. For example, "Helping Startups Grow through Data-Driven Marketing." 2. Share Your Journey in the About Section: ↱Your profile summary is your chance to build a connection. Share your journey on how you help others succeed. Be relatable but focused on your value. 3. Highlight Achievements: ↱Include specific results and success stories. Show how you've made an impact. Numbers, testimonials, and case studies can boost your credibility. 4. End with a Call to Action: ↱Invite potential clients to connect. Something simple like “Let’s chat about how I can help your business grow” can open the door to opportunities. Your story sets you apart—use it to build a brand that attracts the clients you want! No one becomes an expert from day one, consistent experiments make them professional. How are you all?

Think giving free advice is a waste of time? What if I told you it’s the smartest move for your personal brand? Most people think free advice is about being “helpful.” It’s not. It’s about control. Control over the narrative, your positioning, and the first impression you leave on potential clients. Make your free advice work in your favour by 1️⃣ Creating Micro Wins, Not Mega Solutions Your free advice shouldn’t solve the entire problem it should spark a curiosity. You do not have to give away the blueprint but show people what’s possible with your help. They need to realize: “I need more of this person in my life.” 2️⃣ Position Yourself as a Trusted Signal The online world is full of “gurus” shouting theories. What sets you apart? -Execution. -Real-life examples. -Data-backed advice. Share free advice that shows you walk the talk. When people see tangible results attached to your tips, you’ll stand out as the go-to expert. 3️⃣ Play the Long Game, Strategically The mistake most people make? They view free advice as an instant lead-generation tool. But it’s not. It’s a trust-building tool. When you provide consistent, small bursts of actionable advice, you stay top of mind. Even if the person doesn’t hire you today, you’re the first name they’ll think of when they’re ready. Free advice is about planting seeds, showcasing your thinking, creating curiosity, and subtly guiding people to the next step with you. If you’re strategic, your free advice will boost your brand. Also this week only, I’m opening up free 20-minute consultation slots to help you: - Identify the gaps in your personal brand strategy. - Unlock new ideas for positioning yourself online. - Craft a content plan that actually works. If you want to get noticed, stand out in your industry, be remembered... I'm sorry but branding alone won't do it for you. You need to build a brand. As Jeff Bezos put it, "Your brand what people say about you when you're not in the room." So make sure they're saying brilliant things! Here are 10 things you can do that will elevate your brand to brilliance: 1) Excellence: in service, product, delivery, reputation - deliver on your promises, on time, consistently. Innovate and improve. 2) Make a difference: Get results. Consider guarantees. Consider a philanthropic angle to your business too. 3) Make it easy to work with you - e.g. payment plans. Track your client journey, identify and remove the friction points throughout. 4) Honesty - Keep people informed. Own up if you mess up - then rectify things - ASAP. Be open, be real. Share (but don't over-share). 5) Show up consistently - on your chosen digital platforms and/or in real life. So people know where to find you, when they need your help. 6) Be likeable - not in a ‘people-pleasing’ way - I mean, be interested! Ask questions. Listen. Be curious, GENUINELY interested in others’ stories, hopes and dreams. Remember people. 7) Be helpful - share a connection. A link. An article. A tip. A thought. Go the extra mile. 8) Be kind - As Maya Angelou said, people will always remember how you made them feel. 9) Be human - in an AI and automated world, the human touch will increasingly be a powerful differentiator and help with connection. What cannot be replaced by AI in your business? Do more of that. 10) Have fun! So people are excited to work with you. Make it an experience they’ll rave about and remember forever - not just a transaction. Remember - how you do one thing is how you do everything. And if you need help communicating this brilliance, I'm here for you. Let me know if this sparked any thoughts for you on your own brand. Which of these tips resonated for you most? Anything you'd add? #brand #brandstrategy #marketing #entrepreneur I work with ambitious thought-leaders and game-changers, who wish to elevate their brand, get more visible and attract ideal clients. Start from the Inside. When you think about marketing.. what comes to your mind? Your website? A newsletter? Socials. Logo perhaps. Oh and of course new business, right? These things are all in the mix, obviously. But what comes first? It really needs to start by having a look at what’s on the inside. What lies beneath the surface of the every day. Where does the passion in your business lie? What are YOUR core beliefs? And how about those of your business partners? What moral compass do you live your life by? What shadow do you want to create? What do you want people to say when you are not in the room? Having clarity around this means you have the foundations of something distinctive. You have a story. You have something interesting, and memorable, unique and compelling. Crafting your message through everything you say and do (behaviour is a million times more powerful than what you say).. and now you are starting to market. People connect with real, with vulnerable. People relate to people. Not things. Not brands. So.. how do you start to connect with the inner you? I can help you make these first steps.. but my advice would be to get out into nature. For me.. It’s a good, long, run. Every time. ✨ Where do you find your inspiration? ✨

Why Treating Small Offers as “Marketing” is the Key to Growth If you’re an idea machine who loves creating new offers 🙋🏻♀️, here’s the key to growing your business without overwhelming it: Focus on just 1-2 core offers—and treat everything else as marketing. 👉 Yes, even the paid stuff. This lets you keep creating and experimenting, but with purpose. All those smaller workshops, mini-courses, and one-off consultations? They should guide clients back to your signature offerings. If they’re not, it’s time for the chopping block. Why this works: 💡Less clutter. With just a few core offers, your brand becomes more powerful and recognizable. 💡Purpose-driven creation. Easily determine whether that new idea actually fits into your business model. 💡Focused growth. More attention for your signature offers means faster momentum for your business. Ready to simplify to scale? Choose your signature offers—and let everything else fuel their success.

First WHO, then what... A while back, I started a ritual where: I spend time lurking through marketing forums. And mine for ideas on what: People think about "dear old" Branding. To which the following question popped up: "If you were to start building your brand from zero. What's the first thing you will focus on?" This I consider a good question. Since a lot of businesses are clueless about: What and what not to do, to build their brand. And some of the answer to this question include: "Start creating content." "Do one thing better than others." "Just start and figure it out along the way." As much as I agree with these answers. The reality is: They won't give you long-term leverage like: First knowing who you want to serve. By that, I mean figuring out: 1. Customers you want to do business with. 2. What problems they seek to solve. 3. What you want to be known for. And then, create asset that pulls: These customers into your world. The bottom line is: Not having this figured out before you start. Makes it difficult to: Attract the right attention to your business. Sure, you don't have to take my word for it. But hey, remember, you're a business owner. And your time is money. Samson Damilare

Never Obsessed with Your Product. No matter how much marketing budget you have, it won't guarantee revenue. Imagine you’re at your favorite coffee shop. The coffee server knows your name and favorite drink and even asks about your day. Why do you keep coming back? Because the relationship is more important than the coffee itself. As a marketing strategist, I have seen countless businesses struggle to grow revenue. They often miss a critical link: the emotional connection with their customers. It’s not enough to offer a great product; you need to understand what makes your customers tick and how your brand fits into their lives. Take, for instance, a clothing brand that targets young professionals. They don’t just sell clothes; they sell confidence and success. By tapping into the emotions of ambition and self-assurance, they create a loyal customer base that feels a personal connection to the brand. This emotional bond translates to repeat purchases, word-of-mouth referrals, and ultimately, higher revenue. Today's market is ruled by businesses that play on and profit from customers' feelings. They transform hesitant customers into passionate customers. This means you should enquire: How familiar are you with your targets? Are you just trying to make a sale or are you trying to make an emotional connection with your audience? If you’re ready to bridge the gap between your brand and your customers, or if you’re facing challenges in this area, let’s connect. I’m here to help you turn transactions into meaningful connections. Reach out, and let’s grow your business together. Coming up next: The case study that will define how you may fail if you don't establish your brand and connect with customers.
