What’s the first thing you think about when you hear “funnel”? I’ll go first. I think “cake”. Followed by “beer”. Immediately followed by “scam”. I go from a carnival junk food to an IPA to a sales tactic in the time it takes Sonic the 🦔 do 10 laps around the world. What do I have to do with funnels? Glad you asked. I’m working on making a marketing funnel that takes the best of all the experience I’ve been racking up the last decade. Marketing is a necessary investment to keep you and your service top of mind. What’s better than text? Video. The funnel I’m working on will have a ‘Hero Spot’. This is your video pitch. A 5-20 minute explainer that is made to sell you. Then I would split that long video into multiple short videos. Use them as ads. Every ad would bring the customer to your landing page, offer, and Hero Spot. When they click on the link to set up a time to talk, enter the email drop campaign. 5 emails that build a rapport with you and the customer before you even begin speaking to them. Make a connection before the call. It’s a no brainer. I’m looking for service based businesses who want to give this funnel a whirl and see it in action. Shoot, I’ll even throw in a guarantee. Yesterday I gave a CEO some advice that I wouldn’t recommend for everyone… But it’s how I more than doubled my revenue last year. The advice: ”I would stop pushing your service in your marketing” Yes, it sounds a little crazy. But here’s why that makes sense ↴ People don’t want to be sold to. They don’t care about your easter campaign. They don’t care that you’re the “UK’s No.1” X, Y or Z. They’re not too bothered about your claims to success. They care about what you can do for them ✅ And how you can guide them from where they are → Where they want to be. So here’s the 3-step process I recommended to the CEO: STEP #1️⃣: Clearly outline the problem you solve. Not the problem you THINK you solve. The problem your decision maker moans to their spouse about. STEP #2️⃣ Craft a solution to that problem to give away. Not something you WANT to give away. Something so valuable that it feels stupid not to download. STEP #3️⃣ Sell that free value. Now instead of marketing your main service, market that free value. Collect emails. Book calls. Show your value. The goal is to have people think: ”If that’s what I get for free, imagine if I paid 💭” A clear framework to successful marketing. That not only stops you from shilling your service every two minutes. But actually get's prospects through the door.

List down 20 different ways of marketing them. This should include reels , carousels , regular posts and videos. Create a content calendar and stay consistent with it. To get leads, go live , join pop ups, collaborator with someone , join fb communities, and start email marketing. Make sure your website landing page has those products at the top or it’s easy to find them. Are you a business owner that’s showing up without a strategy and posting hoping to get sales out of luck? Depending on luck is the worst thing to do because you don’t know what’s going on with your business. Time to put in a sustainable strategy for your business and hit your business goals. The way we do business is changing. Has your messaging kept up? Lately, I've had a lot of meetings with coaches, consultants, and other 'thought leader' types who are ready to go BIG. They want more visibility. To be recognized for their expertise and brilliance. And, in many cases, to work with a more premium clientele. And yet—their marketing materials feel straight out of 2019. Pain points everywhere. The same boring, predictable language that everyone else is using. A cobbled-together strategy that does nothing to build real momentum. Sound familiar? Sending lumpy mail to 100 people is going to cost you more than sending a cold email to 100 people. It costs more and that's why it's more effective. People see how invested you are in working with them. It's the ultimate in first impressions. 70% of consumers say mail makes them feel valued as a customer. Look at it like this. How many DREAM clients do you really need to onboard every month? Dream clients are those game changing big contracts that buy from you again and again. Do you need 1 per month? 5, 10? The reason you need to send thousands of emails is because you're sending then to "ok clients". You need to sign 100 or 1000 of them every month to make the same amount of money as 5 dream clients could make you.
