I am so excited to announce I am a judge for AusMumpreneur Awards this week! Hearing about the incredible businesses and their inspiring stories is a true honour. Each journey shared is a testament to the resilience, creativity, and passion that drives our entrepreneurial community and even more exciting is the amount of these incredible I coach in my business to create even more influence and impact in their business and life. Yesterday, I had the experience of being on the other side of the table, interviewed for the Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) Awards in the Entrepreneur of the Year category. What a privilege to be in the company of such inspiring business owners and entrepreneurs. I can only hope that they found my story as compelling as I found theirs. Being a finalist alongside such outstanding individuals in this category is an incredible honour. Being in business is a journey of self-discovery. It challenges you to innovate, grow, and adapt to the ever-changing environment. Every step taken, every obstacle overcome, is a moment of growth and learning. This journey shapes who we are as individuals and as leaders, and it is this continuous evolution that makes entrepreneurship so rewarding. To all the incredible entrepreneurs out there, keep pushing boundaries, embracing change, and sharing your stories. Imagine the difference we can make for our next generation of business leaders. #Ausmumpreneur #MoretonBayBusinessAwards #Entrepreneurship #BusinessJourney #Inspiration #Growth #Innovation

The Black and Minority Business Leaders’ Forum holds its inaugural meeting in Newcastle on Thursday. And, after meeting its inspirational founder Olusola (Sola) Idowu earlier this year, I'm delighted we could help promote this event with North East Times Steven Hugill Peter Mallon John Duns. The forum, which plans to hold a monthly event in the region, is the brainchild of Newcastle University alumni Sola, who is founder of HexisLab, producer of dermatological and pharmaceutical products, and now a major global company. Nigerian-born Sola, who graduated from Newcastle University in 2000, has been advising like-minded entrepreneurs from similar backgrounds on a personal level for many years, and is now officially expanding that support and backing with the formation of the BBLF. The Black and Minority Business Leaders’ Forum (BBLF), sponsored by Newcastle University Business School, will be at @The Catalyst within Newcastle Helix this Thursday (6th June) from 4pm, with speaker David Adenekan, a UK-based management consultant, providing a talk and workshop on leadership. Read more about this brilliant initiative and Sola’s inspirational story, as well as the success of HEXISLAB LIMITED, here: https://lnkd.in/eTEf2rcZ For more information on the BBLF and its first workshop, visit https://bblf.uk/ #NET #northeasttimes #HelixLab #BBLF #NUBS #blackbusinessleadersforum #blackbusinessleaders #entrepreneur #futureofbusiness #network #community #collaboration #support #opportunity #northeast #newcastle #makingconnections #drivingconversations
