Sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone rewards you with discovering a completely different comfort zone you didn’t know of yet: Aila Albrecht and I just returned from a week-long fasting retreat. 12 hours of yoga & meditation, 80km mountain hiking in beautiful nature, all without eating have gifted me with amazing insight into that very different „comfort zone“. Big thanks and lots of love to my former UMG colleague Britta Lüerßen who runs the lovely www.villa-viriditas.de in the German Harz mountains, where she and her partner offer active fasting retreats (Fastenwandern). Great recommendation for anyone who agrees that the only thing you should „burn out“ is your excess belly fat… 😜
Gut schaut Ihr aus!
Wow!! Sounds like a break from life to gain more of it!
Every single important and meaningful thing that I have in my life right now came from doing or saying something outside of my comfort zone. Wholeheartedly agree with this! As a side note, I'm always entertaining the idea of traveling somewhere for a yoga/wellness retreat, so thanks for the inspo!
It's amaizing! I hope I'll make something like this in future! 😀

7moI’m thinking about what you said and wondering what the max altitude would be that I could handle while fasting. Great share sounds like it’s an experience that “gets the adrenals going” as Sylvester Stallone says in his new documentary.
