Bootstrapped: $0 to $150M valuation in 3.5 Years $0 to $26M ARR in 6 years Guillaume was a Solopreneur until $1M ARR. He spoke about being lean - with $10M in EBITDA currently, they are under 90 people. This is another classic example of bootstrapping and staying lean. Our Directive team went hard in the paint to make an impact at SaaStock USA in Austin this past week! This conference did not disappoint! We made partnership connections, heard stories of triumph and overcoming obstacles, and engaged with both startup and enterprise level leaders in this awesome SaaS community. Because that’s truly what it felt like - a community of entrepreneurs and their teams trying to make a difference with their ideas while learning from each other. Some learnings I personally came away with: 1. Posting on social media for B2B engagement is not just for LinkedIn. Other platforms have fantastic reach and allows you further creativity with your talking points - thank you Chris Cunningham for that amazing workshop! 2. Sales leaders need their HOW put into a diagnostic checklist instead of it living in your head if you want to change your teams revenue attainment and retention - thank you Kevin "KD" Dorsey for a fantastic look into your process! 3. Keep pursuing your final destination, and stay active in your community. (Plus a few ride or die friends!) - Vijayanand Kailash your story for getting to SaaStock is inspiring! 4. There’s plenty of space to collaborate on how to jointly serve our community because we’re better together - Garrett Dailey let’s get these founder’s story told! 5. Sales vs marketing is not a thing at Directive, and we smashed any notion of it in Austin this week. We ARE better together.
