So great to see our new platform for OVO Live 'For The Atmosphere' finally rolling out to our venue partners this Christmas, starting with the iconic The O2 arena. Big shout out to the team at Saatchi & Saatchi for creating a fresh new look and feel for OVO Live and carving out our new platform which so perfectly captures our ambition for OVO in music: harnessing the power of live music to inspire and reward greener behaviours 🌍 . Also a big thanks to the team at AEG & AEG Global Partnerships for ensuring we hit the ground running at The O2 during one of the busiest weeks of the year 🎶 💪

Anyone who is passionate about live music can contributed to creating a stronger industry with one simple action, sharing ideas. In the constant floating of new approaches, new ideas and different ways of thinking together we can frame up the challenges and the opportunities to better understand potential solutions. In the article I wrote off back of the Parliamentary inquiry in the live music industry, I shared the idea of collaboration, innovation and evolution. 1. Collaboration - A live music co-operative It was awesome to hear from Amanda Jackes (co-founder of Woodford) about how they are innovating. They have started to brew their own beer and are going about starting their own sustainable coffee brand. What could other festivals be creating that could be part of a co-operative that would see all live events support each other through purchasing of products/services they provide? Let's have as much money as possible that is spent to put on festivals, stay within the festivals. 2. Innovation - Support new money coming into the sector Unite the live music industry to share ideas and experiment with new products to learn together vs everyone tackling the need to evolve themselves. 3. Evolution - Live music into the future The live music industry's biggest asset is the community they build and outside of the 'music industry' communities are what successful businesses are built on across the world every day of the week. The change the industry might need is to evolve the way they see themselves. If you or someone you know is building product which you believe can support festivals and events to be more efficient or provide greater fan experience, jump on and create a CAST - Centre for Arts, Sports and Technology profile. We’d love to chat. #entertainment #festivals #events #livemusic #startup #scaleup

Predictions for corporate event entertainment for 2025 The rise of Immersive and Creative entertainment and the demand for something different opposed to the standard entertainment of bands and DJs. Its so easy nowadays to book DJs and bands however, finding something truely special and different to norm is alot harder. I predict there will be a rising demand for performers that do something different and more engaging with their audiences. #2025predictions #corporateentertainment #entertainment #evententertainment #eventproducer #producer

Live Nation Entertainment published its Q2 financial results this week, revealing revenues of $6.02bn last quarter, up 7% year-on-year. That included an 8% uplift for its concerts business ($4.99bn) but smaller growth of 3% apiece for ticketing ($730.7m) and sponsorship and advertising ($312.2m). 39 million fans attended Live Nation concerts in Q2, up 5% year-on-year. This was driven by arenas and ampitheatres, since the company admitted that there has been “reduced stadium activity” this year. Globalisation was a big focus in the way Live Nation presented its results. Across its top 50 global tours, international artists have attracted 50% more fans this year so far than in 2019.
