Every business needs MSF. No it's not Ministry of Social and Family. M for Marketing S for Sales F for Fullfilment Without Marketing, people won't know your products or services exist. They won't be aware, let alone be interested. Businesses spend lots on marketing campaigns and ads, and after the leads come into their funnel, they have to convert, which is sales. Sales is not the same as marketing. Sales has only one objective, to find a good fit and close the deal. After Sales, it is not over. Still got Fulfillment. Fullfilment is the capacity to solve the problems and add value. If a business can't fulfill it's promise, all the resources spent in marketing and sales will backfire. It is not back to zero, it's negative. Sales without fulfilling are called scams. Not everyone is good at both sales and fulfillment. Sometimes one closes the sale, but another person does the fullfilment. (Not applicable to financial advisors and property agents! Cause they bao-ga-liao!) Which pays more? It is sales. Because sales bring in the money. Fullfilment costs money. How about marketing? Marketing pre-frames the potential buyer's mind so it's easier to close a sale. Well, it is not about those shops and new trend to observe, it tells something far more substantial about the times we are facing here and elsewhere around the globe. 🤔 Money becomes now shorter to those having more than needed, and I feel the society becomes more grounded jointly - somehow it will balance out the gaps between the market regions too. Of course there are many individuals, who will say, they missed the party - but here in Asia, all is about the group and society, not about the individual. 🥹 China and its society in fact never experienced such times of "kick-back" and even it might feel scary for some, China and its fantastic people will succeed in coping with it. The country is too huge and people are strong, hard working and will always get up early to catch the next morning in best spirits 👏👏👏. 🤔 Anyway, the Western luxury brands are the first to experience the "kick-back", which might hit their P/L balance sheet hardly. I am wishing them well, but it indicates much about the times to come. 👌 Positive vibe - money value doesn't disappear, it just flows in other people's pocket. Seems like it will be less concentrated the days to come and more balanced across the countries and global regions, which just makes the feeling, less money circulates a such.
