Center Director - NASA's Glenn Research Center

We're excited Aviation Week has recognized NASA Glenn Research Center's NASA Electric Aircraft Testbed (NEAT) as a winner of its international 67th Annual Laureate Awards honoring extraordinary achievements in the global aerospace arena. The testbed, located at Glenn's Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio, allows government, industry and academia to collaborate and conduct testing of high-powered electrified aircraft powertrains. The goal is to transform commercial flight by creating more sustainable, fuel-efficient commercial aircraft.    Congratulations to our employees for their dedication and efforts to revolutionize air travel at NEAT! Thank you also to Aviation Week for recognizing NEAT’s unique capabilities.
