I just attended the online LinkedIn Content Creators Workshop. While I've attended many online workshops, I'm sure you have too; this was the most populated one, with around 150 attendees. My initial reaction was, "This won't work." However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the content and the facilitated engagement.
What worked for me:
- Three presenters who were clearly subject matter experts.
- The slides were easy to follow, although maybe too many for my liking as I'm auditory and can't read effectively while listening.
- Small breakout rooms, although not facilitated, were surprisingly effective. I can;t comment for others.
What works best for you as an attendee of an online workshop? Length, slides, content, breaks, engagement etc.
Many thanks to the exceptional facilitators;
Daniel Markovits, Ash Turner, & Priscillia Mudiaki
"Hi" to my friends who also attended, sorry I didn't get the chance to speak with you, maybe next time.
