In its press release, the government recalls the efforts, projects and investments made around AI, in particular through the France 2030 initiative. HawAI.tech, alongside SAVOYE, is proud to be supported by France 2030 through the MOPSOS project, a project dedicated to accelerate predictive maintenance using frugal and explainable artificial intelligence. Also, we were extremely proud to showcase our technology to Bruno Bonnell at our booth during Viva Technology. In a vibrant ecosystem, trustworthy AI for industry is becoming reality! ✔ Last weeks marked a new significant step in the French journey of trustworthy AI for industrial applications. ✍ ⏱ It all started in 2018 after Villani's report, the launch of the French national strategy in AI in 2019 and CEOs from industrial companies committing to trustworthy AI via a dedicated Manifesto in 2019. 🚗 ✈ 🛰 🏭 Since 2020, confiance.ai’s 13 industrial and academic partners, supported by French authorities, which I had the honor to chair during the last two years, developed the national value chain in trustworthy AI for industrial applications. The consortium’s motto is to enhance the capacity to safely deploy new industrial products and services (cars, planes, plants, supply-chain, satellites…) based on AI without jeopardizing core industrial values: people, safety, long-term sustainability, reliability, in a cost effective and scalable way. This is all the more true in the age of generative AI ! ✌ In early March, the confiance.ai days at the Ministry of Economy in Paris gathered 400 participants coming from all over the world to present the concrete outcomes of this program. High-level experts delivered insightful keynotes, and a marketplace put together tangible demos of what has been achieved so far. And these are major steps forward:  - 📰 An end-to-end methodology for trustworthy AI applicable to all industries and validated on real industrial use-cases - 👨💻 A catalog of AI software components that can support both engineering and digital teams to support this methodology,  - A common testbench of AI’s technologies to validate their trustworthiness. Above all, we have created a unique ecosystem and we are now able to collaborate in a wider international ecosystem. The Israeli ecosystem is proving its resilience and adaptability. As AI infrastructure becomes increasingly critical, Israel's combination of top-tier talent and strategic investments positions it strongly in the global AI landscape. The first half of 2024 has been a turning point for Israel’s tech ecosystem, particularly in data and AI infrastructure. Despite fewer deals, we saw a 267.9% increase in capital raised, with major rounds like Aerospike’s $114M Series E and WEKA’s $140M Series E, demonstrating investor confidence in Israeli AI companies' ability to scale.
