Review and finalize annual procurement plans. 2. Expedite pending orders and deliveries. 3. Ensure compliance with year-end financial regulations. 4. Conduct supplier performance evaluations. 5. Plan for budget allocation and resource optimization. Year-End Closure Checklist 1. Confirm contract renewals/cancellations. 2. Update procurement records and documentation. 3. Reconcile purchase orders and invoices. 4. Verify inventory levels and manage stock. 5. Prepare for audit and financial reporting. Strategic Considerations 1. Analyze spend data for cost-saving opportunities. 2. Identify areas for process improvements. 3. Develop a procurement strategy for the new year. 4. Build relationships with key stakeholders. 5. Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes. Best Practices 1. Communicate effectively with stakeholders. 2. Ensure transparency and accountability. 3. Leverage technology for efficiency gains(AI is changing the way things are done,take an interest and learn about how it can help you and your organization). 4.
