My biggest pet peeve: ‘neurodiversity training’ THAT IS NOT INCLUSIVE. Surely we can’t expect people to learn and develop and grow and adapt, if the trainers themselves are not practicing what we preach?! A 3 hour session of sitting and listening, trying to absorb a whole load of information by osmosis just doesn’t quite cut the mustard for me. They should be fun, dynamic, reflective of the job role, engaging (and SILLY). #neurodiversity #training #inclusiveworkplace #learninganddevelopment #HR #employeewellbeing

We need to make sure that ALL training programmes (all teaching programmes) are effective and ACCESSIBLE to a variety of learning styles. Otherwise we’re not actuallly teaching anyone anything, just ticking boxes!
