In a world where every voice has the potential to be heard, how do we ensure that ours resonates with authenticity and impact? 🤔 As a Political Science and International Relations student at Addis Ababa University, I've learned the power of communication, both in theory and through my role as General Secretary of the PSIR Club. Here are three key strategies I've discovered for making your voice heard in a crowded space: 👩👩👧👧 Know your audience: Tailor your message to resonate with their values and interests. 👉 Be clear and concise: Complexity often dilutes the message. Simplicity is key. 📡 Engage through storytelling: Everyone loves a good story. It's how humans have shared knowledge for centuries. In today's digital age, these strategies are not just useful; they are necessary. Whether through my academic pursuits, volunteering, or even content creation on YouTube, I've seen the difference clear, compelling communication can make. What strategies do you use to ensure your voice is heard? 💬 #Communication #Storytelling #PoliticalScience #YouTubeContentCreation

We have alot of local problems, local solutions, education, exposure, high population, alot of leadership experiences and heroes. Our diverse cultures are untapped libraries. We are excellent and natural storytellers. It is in our lineages. We can tell our stories better. It is time to arise and write valuable books. We cannot have sustainable development if our elders continue to die with their wisdom undocumented. The major thing we need is a professional midteam. Those who can cover the gap between raw contents from the authors to polished contents in the market place. Together we can do that, by God's grace. That is one of the gaps our company exists to cover. We need extraleaders: Those who live well, lead well and write well. This is how I received my title in Intercultural Communications 📸👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 ************************************📕 The study of intercultural communication requires intercultural understanding. Intercultural understanding is the ability to understand and value cultural differences. Language is an example of an important cultural component that is linked to intercultural understanding.[8] Intercultural communication is something that is not just needed in the United States, but it is also needed in many other parts of the world. Wherever intercultural communication is, it helps to not only create behaviors between domestic and international contexts but also becomes a shared experience for all. #Wikipedia Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia #Ghana #Uganda #Africa #USA #Internationalauthor #Philanthropist #Entrepreneur #Publisher #Writer #Interviewer #Humanitarian #Worldchanger #Lifechanger https://lnkd.in/gKeEz5tG

Spot the difference: If you are in the business of media or strategic communication... just see Priming and Framing at work. One outlet is generally Conservative another is Liberal ... that's why we say Communication is Constructivist it's not pegged on deterministic equations. The trouble is that few folks can construct and deconstruct. Anyways, if you're in Nairobi better be worried about boats than philosophical paradigms. ... and BTW if you can't spot the difference, you're welcome to my class of Critical Thinking. #Media #PublicRelations #massmedia #communication

Traditionally, since time past, societies have disseminated information through storytelling. In Zambia, this oral tradition has persisted over time, even after independence and the widespread adoption of the English language. Despite many Zambians acquiring the ability to read and write in English and the increasing availability of information stored in books, society as a whole has continued to rely on oral methods for sharing information. This enduring practice is so ingrained in Zambian culture that there is a saying: "If you want to hide something from a Zambian, put it in a book." Given this context, can we assert that in Zambia, the most effective form of information dissemination remains rooted in oral traditions, particularly through storytelling? Granted the older generation indeed has a rich tradition of sharing information orally, the younger generation is increasingly tech-savvy and engages with information differently. However, even though the medium has changed, the cultural preference for dialogue continues through orally based forms such as online discussions, comment threads, and group chats. This, for Zambian societies, reflects a continuity of cultural values, where the mode of communication adapts, but the foundational reliance on oral exchange remains strong. What is your thought?

The Evolution of Influential Speaking: A Cross-Cultural Business Perspective As a keynote speaker engaged across continents, I've observed fascinating cultural dynamics in how different societies receive business wisdom. Cultural Observation: South Africa traditionally reserves powerful speaking for religious contexts, while America embraces both spiritual and business oratory platforms. This cultural insight has profound implications for global business communication and knowledge transfer.
