The fate of the Lamborghini Huracan has been set in stone for a while now, and we know a replacement is in the works, but Lamborghini’s V-10 masterpiece wasn’t going down without a fight, with a final model being this Huracan STJ. Limited to just 10 examples worldwide with a unique aerodynamics package, and performance straight from the Huracan STO, we can say without a doubt that this is the most extreme road-legal Huracan ever built. This is it, folks; we’re finally looking at the very last iteration of the Huracan before Lamborghini reveals an all-new supercar later this year. It joins a long list of other STJ models (Super Trofeo Jota), and finally closes the Huracan chapter as Lamborghini moves into the future. The question is, does the Huracan STJ live up to the 10 years of history that precede it?   Race-Ready Performance For The Road The Lamborghini Huracan STJ isn’t your typical special farewell edition. Under that crispy, aggressive body resides the very same 5.2-liter V-10 that powers the Huracan STO. It delivers a cool 631 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque, enough for a sprint to 60 mph in less than three seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. As you’d expect power is directed exclusively to the rear wheels, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic handling shifting duties.

Enter the RB17- Holy Aerodynamics! This is the latest creation of Mr. Adrian Newey, in collaboration with a team of engineers from Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology. It boasts a wide range of, quite frankly mind boggling figures when it comes to it's performance. It is powered by a 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V10 that revs to a whopping 15,000 rpm, generating 1000 horsepower. It weighs only 900 kilograms and generates 1700 kilograms of downforce at a speed of just 100 miles per hour. The thing that impresses me the most, is of course, the aerodynamic design of the car. Every time I think Newey has achieved the greatest feat in the aerodynamics of race cars, he goes and does something even greater. In one of his interviews, he said that the team that created this machine has achieved an aerodynamic efficiency which is similar to that of an aircraft! Simply amazing. What is even more amazing about this car is that, according to Red Bull's own simulations, it would have completed a lap around Silverstone, a full ONE SECOND faster than the pole time set by George Russell last week!
