As previous (and upcoming last reminder) posts have indicated, I'll be presenting tomorrow as Part 3 of our Webinar Series with ITS America Events . I'll be presenting with TriMet, LYT and SMART CITY TRAFFIC LLC But I wanted to take a minute to look back on Part 2 of our Webinar series, which my colleague James Kuhr moderated. He took the feedback from that webinar, along with many of his own insights and ruminations, to write up the following thought piece. Not only does this shed light on a central element of the future Digital Roadway Infrastructure, but hits the key issues that many of our clients have been wrestling with around "Using Private Data Ecosystems for Secure Intelligent Transportation Systems". Give it a read. And come join tomorrow's webinar: Article: https://lnkd.in/gzcRdeHZ Registration for tomorrow: Webinar Registration - Zoom https://lnkd.in/g-9SSvZ6

Why is everyone talking about Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling? 😉 Because it’s not just a trend—it’s the future of data centers. We had the privilege of showcasing our solutions at Data Centre World Paris, alongside our amazing colleagues from KERPEN DATACOM GmbH. Representing CONTEG were Vojtech Volacek and Jean Rodrigues, who joined the conversation on one of the hottest topics in the industry. As data centers grow, so do their energy demands. Traditional cooling methods are struggling to keep up, and businesses are feeling the pressure to find sustainable, efficient solutions. This is where CONTEG steps in. We’ve developed high-quality, innovative cooling solutions that not only meet today’s demands but are ready for the challenges of tomorrow. 👉

I’ve always had an interest in the human responses to buildings so how about this for a presentation topic: “This presentation will focus on the need for buildings to not only be sustainable but designed for achieving environments that are conducive for health and well-being. Can Intelligent Buildings provide alternative approaches to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning of buildings? Today, sensitive control of these needs may use either traditional or new solutions, or a blend of these, but we have to understand that the built environment is fundamental to mankind's sense of well-being and that it is the totality of this idea that we need to understand and value even in this low carbon economy age. Intelligent buildings respect these values for the individual, the business organisation and the society, and we can learn about intelligent buildings by looking at the history of world architecture and seeing how people have adapted buildings to deal with the rigors of climate and the changing face of civilisation.”
Join the CIBSE Intelligent Buildings Group on Monday, 4 March 2024 for their webinar entitled "Intelligent Buildings Liveable Buildings for the 21st Century" run by Prof. Derek Clements-Croome. Register now: https://bit.ly/3P38SEu
