When the ERP you bought to simplify things becomes the most complex part of your business… Let’s talk about ERP implementation costs – because they’re not just massive; they’re often massively underestimated. Here’s the typical scenario: a company buys into the dream of a “complete solution” and dives into implementation. But as the delays and costs start piling up, the pressure kicks in to “just get the system up and running.” So what happens? Stripping back the original rollout plan (but we’ll call it delivering the critical path). “Let’s skip that feature for now – we’ll come back to it.” “Those data sets can wait; we’ll bring them in later.” Why? Because the reality of data quality hits hard. All those inconsistencies, outdated records, and messy data from the old system? They’re coming along to the new system unless they’re fixed first. And this isn’t usually part of the sales pitch. Addressing these issues grows the project scope – and with it, the implementation cost. So companies start cutting back, controlling unplanned cost. They leave certain functions in the old system, put off integrating key data sets, and the “complete solution” they paid for becomes a patchwork of old and new systems. They end up with a Frankensystem – a mishmash of new tech duct-taped to legacy software that was supposed to be replaced. The result? More complexity, less efficiency, and a far cry from the seamless system they were promised. Maybe it’s time to ask: Are we really getting value from these implementations, or are we just creating expensive monsters?

What is JEM? Definitely not your traditional ERP. 😮 JEM is an all-in-one business management software that was specifically built for growing businesses that want enterprise system features but feel they are out of reach. Here's the problem with the systems we have available to us at the moment... Traditional ERP solutions have been considered: - Costly and slow to implement - Expensive to maintain - Extremely complex - Difficult to migrate data easily - Near impossible to effectively extend functionality at a lower cost Every Founder's go-to platform to manage and scale their business should be centralised, lightweight, have foundational features out-the-box, are low-cost, and have newly bespoke features that can be developed by a long-term high-quality support partner. JEM was built with this in mind. 🤯 It delivers features of larger, less flexible ERP solutions but at a fraction of the cost. We built this end-to-end platform with scalability and flexibility in mind so that even complex businesses can have pure control and efficiently scale their operation.
