Silicon IP Secutity protection built in For all our Chip design friends.. see our newcomer partner CryptoQuantique’s hardware IP at the core of the Root of Trust includes the QDID™ PUF and True Random Number Generator (TRNG). QDID™ PUF is a NIST-compliant embedded hardware PUF IP that harnesses quantum tunnelling current variations on a standard silicon process as the source of entropy. It is a prerequisite component for authentication and product lifecycle management in scaling a robust, flexible, and affordable end to- end security proposition. The QDID™ PUF provides multiple internally generated unclonable identities, eliminating the need for costly hardware security modules (HSM) or secret key injection processes during manufacturing. The TRNG IP provides dynamic entropy to enable authentication schemes and can provide nonce/initialization vectors required for key generation or other cryptographic primitives. 𝗔𝗘𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗜𝗢 is an embedded system application that provides a single point of encryption and decryption that uses the 𝗔𝗘𝗦-𝟭𝟮𝟴 encryption scheme in 𝗖𝗶𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗖𝗕𝗖) 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 to store data into an SD Card using the 𝗦𝗗𝗜𝗢 interface. A single point of Encryption and Decryption centralizes access to the data stored in the SD Card and provides exclusive ownership of the stored data to the user. 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐂𝐀𝐓 𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧⚡ Uninterrupted operation and a high flexibility with regard to dynamic configuration changes increase the efficiency of industrial #automation systems. To ensure this, the #EtherCAT protocol for masters offers the '𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭' functionality. 🔥 Our master firmware for EtherCAT, which can be loaded onto any master-capable #netX chip, always has the Hot Connect feature on board. This means that every master-capable EtherCAT module, such as our #cifX #PCcards or #EmbeddedModules, can also use this feature. #CyberAlerts A newly discovered vulnerability, dubbed "EUCLEAK," affects @FIDO devices that use Infineon's SLE78 security microcontroller, including Yubico's YubiKey.cz 5 Series. The flaw allows attackers to extract Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) secret keys through a side-channel attack involving electromagnetic (EM) emissions. Despite its potential severity, the attack requires extended physical access, specialized equipment, and deep expertise in electronics and cryptography, making it primarily a threat to high-value targets rather than the general user base. Need help from some of you in the digital forensics industry! What tools are you using to perform chip-off firmware extraction on UFS (eUFS) flash storage chips? Are there any devices that do both eMMC and UFS? My understanding is that the IC packages are often the same but the underlying protocol is different. Is that true?
