Last week was less active in M&As and cap raisings given US elections. The highlight was Physical Intelligence, an AI company focused on machine learning for robots and physical devices, which raised a $400 mn Series A at a $2.4 bn valuation led by Lux Capital and Thrive Capital, with participation from BOND and OpenAI. In the cryptocurrency space, Crytocoin, a cloud-mining platform, secured a $100 mn Venture Round backed by Nomad Capital and Sky9 Capital. TOTVS made headlines in Brazil with its acquisition of VarejOnline - Sistema de Gestão Empresarial, a comprehensive ERP system designed to manage various aspects of retail operations, for $8.5 mn.
