This MIT article compared the two dominant AI models and concludes, “For all the buzz about the next big thing, Gemini could be a sign that we’ve reached peak AI hype. At least for now.” Perhaps, but how about the applications of the technology? Google Is All In On Generative AI - Gemini Is Unavoidable. Google has rebranded Google Search as AI Overviews, and Google searches are no longer a long list of websites to spend time visiting to get the answers you want. Now, using the latest OpenAI chatbot, Google begins by answering the question with an AI bot answer, and lists the websites used as resources underneath. The website content creators are not impressed, since this will probably reduce the number of visits to their sites. But, progress doesn't stop. This article, however, shows some tips and tricks to limit or reduce the AI Overviews, in case you just want to visit websites yourself. My view is that this kind of progress is inevitable, and we will be seeing AI integrated into every part of our computing lives, and even our ordinary day to day activities. What say you? https://lnkd.in/edF55tiA

Interesting to see that within the Standard version of Google Gemini . There are multiple different variants of the Standard Gemini inference model its self. Some versions contain more data than the other so at times the responses are variable or can seem to be inconsistant . Overall It's pretty good when the more latest model gets loaded. Single Front end = > Standard_Gemini[ variant_1, variant_2, variant_3, variant_4,] #google #gemini #ai

Regarding Gemini’s demo in processing a movie, I see immediate applications in smart surveillance and monitoring. The ability to interprete long videos (maybe even live video feed) and to extract appropriate contextual information is both alarming and impressive. #ai #surveillance #multimodal #geminiai
Google’s new version of Gemini can handle massive amounts of input data—far more than even the best version of GPT-4. That means Gemini can do things that no other AI models are currently capable of.

🚀 Google has launched a new open source LLM called Gemma with 2B and 7B models. Tried the 2B model and mind blown to see the results. Have given the same prompt I gave Gemini to generate changelog from the release note snippet and found its performing similarly. 🔥 #Gemini #Google #LLM #Gemma #largelanguagemodel #AI
