Just the other day, I was chatting with a friend who's about to tie the knot. Between the excitement of picking out her dream outfit from Manish Malhotra and the endless debates over flower arrangements, she admitted something we don’t talk about enough: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 Pressure to have the "perfect" wedding. Pressure to meet everyone's expectations. Pressure to make sure her big day trends on Instagram kyunki weddings now come with social media scorecards apparently😅. She said something that also struck a chord: "𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭. 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞!" And she’s not wrong. As we talked, it reminded me how much the joy of a big moment often overshadows the pressure to make everything perfect. Now when I think about it, I feel this not only applies to marriage preparations. It's true for professional life too. We often let the pressure to be perfect take over, and the joy of accomplishing something starts seeming smaller. That conversation made me realise that, it's ok to take a moment and breathe because it's better not to lose sight of the joy in chasing perfection! What's your take on this?👇🏻 #wedding #marriage #shaadiseason #professionallife #preparations #perfection #perfect #chasingperfection #pressuretobeperfect #weddingseason #perfectwedding #accomplishments #worklife #professional

1dVery well said! Every aspect in life is more of a competition now like running in a rat race continuously. It's actually a good idea to take a breather every now and then, to soak in the joy. :)
