Facebook ran for seven years pre revenue. Not pre profit, pre revenue. Which means they ran for seven years not selling anything to anyone. Amazon is now the world's largest retailer by market capitalisation. It's been around for 15 years. For the 1st 13 years of Amazon's existence it made losses. As a person who runs a business, I know when you have a loss at the end of the year. It's funded from two places. Shareholders funds are dead. So who was funding Amazon's losses? Somebody funded it for 13 years even though it wasn't making money. We just are not getting the message. You don't need a state Funding Agency. What you need is 100 venture capitalists, each of them with 100 million, and each of them willing to exit deals to each other. Beth will start a business. I'll fund her for two years. She still won't be profitable. She'll do another capital call and I won't want to participate, but I will know that he does. So I'll call him. And I said, I've got a deal. I've funded it for two years. It's now at less risk as it's been running for two years, Fund it. And then #3 #4 #5 by the time they get to the 7th or 8th iteration of the funding round, it's now running and it's a profitable business.

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that empowers creators to launch innovative products by connecting them directly with supporters to help raise funds to assist with manufacturing costs.
Rather than getting a loan for 100% of the costs and maybe losing my shirt, backers get first chance at owning the product, and also help the people they believe in birth a dream
Artists and entrepreneurs use it to share their visions, gather funding, and bring their ideas to life—all while building a community around their projects.
It also helps us gauge interest in our product, and know whether we are chasing a pipe dream.
For tarot decks, Kickstarter is especially powerful! It allows creators to showcase their unique designs and concepts, attract backers who resonate with their artistic style, and gauge interest before full production.
This not only benefits the artist financially but also fosters a supportive network of tarot enthusiasts who share their passion.
The process is simple: set a funding goal, present your project with captivating visuals and descriptions, and promote it to your audience. If you reach your goal within the campaign period, you receive the funds to create your product!
If lots of people support the campaign, the kickstarter algorithm notices, and then emails out the campaign to a wide audience, potentially making it viral.
