Invest in Aalborg’s Post

Nelson Mandela is elected president. Brazil wins the Football World Cup. And the largest European movement for sustainable cities and towns is born - in Aalborg⭐    The year is 1994 and the beginning of The Aalborg Charter - an urban sustainability initiative signed by more than 3,000 local authorities from over 40 countries.    The Aalborg Charter was approved by the participants at the first European Conference on Sustainable Cities & Towns in Aalborg, Denmark in 1994.     In 2024 the conference returns as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Aalborg Charter. Before, during and after the international conference the city will be filled with green activities and events, including: - The Net Zero Pathways conference and - Aalborg's 8th Sustainability Festival. We have labeled it, Aalborg 2024.   The climate challenges are massive and overwhelming. Aalborg 2024 is a new chance for Europe to take action. It’s our cities our responsibility.
