International Women's day is a celebration of ALL women. Today, at GECO, we recognize "woman" is an inclusive term and recall that many women have not yet been welcomed into the feminist movement. We want to change that. Furthermore, IWD is about fighting for the rights of all women. Dear Agencies, This Women’s Day, please please don’t try to ‘emancipate’ women. Don’t show us on bikes riding into freedom. That’s a male idea of women freedom. If you really want to advertise for women, enable women to create those pieces. Watch how the gaze changes. And when the gaze changes, work changes.
