Hello, I share you an analysis about medals in Olympic games and Paralympic games: In green, there are countries who has better rank in Paralympic games. Points represent the Olympic games rank. Next to, there are numbers of gold medals. Some countries have better results during Paralympics games: Netherland, Italia, Brazil, Iran, Ukraine, Cuba, Algeria, Poland, Switzerland, Colombia and India. On the contrary, other countries have better results during Olympics games: Great Britain, South Korea, New Zealand, Sweden, Kenya, Norway, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, Austria. We have to take into account that there are more medals during Paralympics games. Same like that, these observations are interesting. In general, we can think that countries with more money and social laws to improve the life of people with handicapped will have good results in Paralympics games. That is false because lots of these countries had a better rank and more gold medals during Olympics games. Many countries of Latin America and Africa had more gold medals during Paralympics Games although there are countries with few money and resources for these paralympic athletes. 

The Paris Olympics are now in full swing, set to run until August 11, followed by the Paralympics from August 28 to September 8. India's contingent this year boasts 117 athletes across 16 disciplines, with 72 athletes making their Olympic debut. This marks India's second-largest contingent after Tokyo 2020. The Olympics and Paralympics are just around the corner. The main talk naturally is around how many medals India can win. One topic which often surfaces but should be completely avoided is comparisons between the Olympic and Paralympic medal tally of India. Not at all a fair comparison for many reasons. The progress markers for India to improve are the respective performances from Tokyo 2020. India won 7 (1 Gold) medals at the Olympics and 19 (5 Gold) medals at the Paralympics. Two real possibilities for Paris 2024 which I am super excited about are 1. India’s first female Olympic Gold medalist ! 2. Gold, Silver, Bronze in the same event on the Paralympic podium !
