A warm welcome to our new colleagues who joined us in November and December ❄️ !
Earlier this month they had the opportunity to visit the Olympic Museum and the Olympic House, followed by a presentation of the organisation and departments, where they met their new colleagues.
We wish them all the best in their new positions! 👏

You’re first time is special,
🥇first time in the mile-high club
🥇first social post to go viral
🥇first time you 10x a biz and
🥇your very first TEDtalk
Well interestingly enough, I haven’t done any of the above, yet 🤷🏾♂️
but,
despite my advancing years I am still experiencing firsts.
As we grow older, it’s easy to think that life’s “firsts” become fewer and farther between. But who says they have to?
Life can still be exhilarating if we challenge the following conventions:
👴🏾 Accumulation of Experiences:
Yes, we’ve already ticked off many milestones, but that just means we have the wisdom to appreciate new experiences even more! Whether it’s learning a new skill, exploring a new country, or starting a new career, there’s always something out there waiting for you.
👴🏾 Routine and Stability:
Not many of us will admit it but routine can bring comfort, however, it can also keep us from exploring the unknown. Why not shake things up? Embrace change, seek out new challenges, and remember that life is full of surprises at any age. Your “depressing” gown and slippers will still be waiting for you when you return to the routine.
👴🏾 Physical and Social Limitations:
While aging can bring its challenges, it also brings resilience and creativity. Adapt, innovate, and stay connected—whether that means taking up a new sport or hobby, making new friends, or finding ways to stay active. Keep your mind and body vigorous!
👴🏾 Aging isn’t about slowing down; it’s about refining our approach to life’s endless possibilities. Let’s redefine what it means to age by continuing to seek out and celebrate those firsts—because the thrill of discovery never truly fades.
PS I went to my first aqua theatre to watch La Perle by Dragone in Dubai last week…special thanks to Himu H. … the show was amazing 🙏🏾

Taking care of our health is essential for overall well-being and success. Prioritising our physical and mental well-being is crucial for achieving our goals and living a fulfilling life. This is especially true for women, who often juggle multiple responsibilities and roles and as such have to work twice as hard to achieve similar goals with their male counterparts.
It is important for women to take the time to prioritize their health, both physically and mentally, in order to be able to excel in their careers, relationships, and personal endeavors.
By investing in our health, we are investing in our wealth and future success. We must remember to make self-care a priority and not neglect our own well-being in the pursuit of other goals.
Join my colleagues and i as we share this and more at the round table tomorrow.
