International Monetary Fund The problem was related to urbanization historically since the industrial revolution. The prices of urban-land as well as real estate in the cities, increase steadily and moreover due to gentrification works is inevitably as well as imbalances of supply-demand, just like some products of agricultural production. Moreover the trend doesn’t look like that may able to reverse despite the climate changing. Actually, the housing can able to supply in out of the cities, much cheaper and easily. Consequently, a concepts are important per se for that to define the problem truly. So, we should define it with that the housing-urban affordability crisis in my opinion. #housingurban #housingurbanaffordability

The landspace available on Earth is finite while population growth is infinite. If people continually want to live in certain areas then its inevitable that prices will rise as everyonebtries to outbid the next for the desired space As a result this is not a surprise. If prices had not risen last year then theu would have risen next year or the othrr yeat. The solution is for people to change their mindset and be willing to live in other areas. Similarly, employers (whose business can allow flexible work arrangements) need to change their mindset and allow their staff the ability to choose where they will work from, instead of insisting that work can only be done in one location
