Our MBA group from Ljubljana recently went to Prague to attend the entrepreneurial finance course with UNYP Rector Andreas Antonopoulos. The weekend was full of learning; covering everything from fundraising for startups to the importance of accelerators, angel investors, and VCs. But what really made this trip special was the diversity within our group. We’re a mix of different backgrounds, experiences, and ages. At first, you might think these differences create challenges, but they’re actually our greatest strength. The combination of youthful mischief and older wisdom drives outstanding results, and it shows how much we can grow by learning from one another. This diversity pushes us to have a growth mindset, constantly learning, adapting, and coming up with new ideas. Just like in business, diversity isn’t just about who we are, it’s about how we think and collaborate to create something better. A special thanks to our guest speakers, Razvan Suta from Startup Wise Guys and Miroslav Esser from Creative Dock, for sharing their insights on venture building and startups. ✨ A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend the 6th International Conference of the IESE Business School ‘s Search Fund Center Barcelona, in partnership with Stanford University. It was the main event for the #SearchFunds universe. Sold out. 600 carefully selected attendees. Future #searchers, #acquirers, #investors, #exiters, #accelerators, institutions, and academics. From Japan to Australia, South Africa, Turkey, Spain, Italy, UK, Mexico, Brazil, USA, Canada, France… 🔥 The buzz around search funds is global. there’s no doubt that it will accelerate! 🙌 Thanks to this conference, I was able to get a clear picture of the market’s evolution and validate some of my convictions about the potential of this model. Here's the winners! The Ideation Camp was founded as part of the University of Luxembourg Entrepreneurship Programme to empower students, researchers and alumni with the entrepreneurial skills needed to create venture. This hands-on program offers an experiential journey where participants collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams to tackle challenges, develop solutions, refine their ideas, and pitch their ventures to investors. The core of the Ideation Camp is focused on building practical entrepreneurial skills through an immersive, “learning by doing” approach. Participants gain experience in key areas such as complex problem-solving, creative thinking, critical decision-making, judgment, and business strategy. By working on real-world problems, they learn to brainstorm effectively, think innovatively, and develop solutions with tangible outcomes. Throughout the program, participants refine their entrepreneurial mindset, build resilience, and gain the confidence to launch and grow their own ventures. As we wrap up the core modules of ifada 5.0, we are thrilled to share the incredible progress made by our fellows. They have dedicated themselves to refining their models by applying the fundamental concepts learned during the program. New group for Investment and Innovation Academy already onboarding - former participants share practical value and knowledge applied.   At BMI Executive Institute, we truly believe in the necessity of combining theory with hands-on practice. The short-term programme, Investment and Innovation Academy, is real proof of this approach. The 5-module programme equips participants with the skills needed to assess investment opportunities effectively, manage risks, and achieve higher success rates in decision-making and innovation.   Even better when former participants can prove it themselves directly:   "The Academy felt like a hackathon - right from the first session, we started putting ideas on the table, discussing, and selecting them.
