Many of these steps have already been taken by the financial institutions represented by the speakers, some of whom have been exploring and investing in quantum technology as early as the 1990s. 🏛 Interestingly, it is now governments and the public sector that are leading the charge in quantum investment and innovation, with countries like Singapore and Australia committing substantial public funds to the technology as a matter of national security.
