Since the advent of mankind, we have seen ways to use energy into our use, whether through renewable or non-renewable sources. Science believed that energy could neither be created nor destroyed, but then came E=MC^2 and atomic bomb- creating energy for weapons. Can before the end of this decade we can see the rise of a company working in energy transmission. and maybe before the end of this century- a company "creating" energy economically using fission. How crazy it would be to live in that world.

Amid all the media hype about the slowdown and even reversal of enthusiasm for electric vehicles and their broad adoption, this forecast by the International Energy Agency is an important reality check. In our over-saturated information ecosystem, it is more necessary than ever to think critically when consuming messages and "research" that upholds the interests of the world's wealthiest corporate powers, versus information and data that threatens the status quo. https://lnkd.in/gmmDBqed?

As we navigate the path towards a sustainable future, understanding the economic dynamics of the energy transition is paramount. In a recent event hosted by Tom Legard and Deborah Whitehouse, Paul Stein, former Chair of Rolls-Royce Small Modular Reactors and sustainable energy expert, shed a light on the complexities and opportunities in this transformative journey - https://lnkd.in/eFGdvww5 The key takeaways from the event were: 1. Unveiling the shifts in investment patterns within the energy sector. 2. Exploring the impact of regulatory frameworks on market dynamics. 3. Insights into emerging business models and technologies driving change. Paul argued persuasively that mature physics must be prioritised over new technologies if net zero goals are to be met. #sustainability #energytransition #futureofenergy #renewableenergy
