🎉 We are excited to announce that Professor Mike McLaughlin (School of Agriculture, Food and Wine) was recently elected as a Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors. An NAI Fellowship is considered to be a most prestigious distinction awarded solely to inventors. Congratulations Professor McLaughlin! 🪴Professor McLaughlin's research combines fundamental science and commercial application. His laboratory is regarded internationally as a leader in developing and evaluating fertiliser technologies. In 2007 he established the Fertiliser Technology Research Centre supported by The Mosaic Company. He also has 10 US patents. The Fellowship recognises his exceptional achievements as an inventor and his contributions which have made a significant impact on innovation, economic development, and society’s welfare. Our Commercialisation team have worked closely with Professor McLaughlin and his lab to implement IP protection strategies.
